These terms govern use of the Definite website. Access to the Definite service is governed by the written agreement between Definite and the customer.

Using this website
You may use this website to learn about Definite and contact us. You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in violation of applicable law.
The Definite service
Definite connects to approved data sources, organizes the data and relationships into an ontology, and makes that context available to dashboards, chat, APIs, BI tools, agents, and configured workflows. The scope of each deployment is defined in a written agreement.
Source-system connections collect approved data without write permissions. Definite does not post entries, alter source records, or initiate payments. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding what action to take in their own systems.
Outputs and professional judgment
Definite may surface mismatches, apply the deterministic rule configured for a workflow, propose mappings or explanations, and help assemble support. A configured rule may produce a provisional value or leave an item unresolved. Outputs can be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed in context. Definite does not provide legal, accounting, tax, or investment advice.
Customer data
Customers retain their rights in the data they provide. Definite may process that data only as permitted by the applicable written agreement and to provide and support the service.
Definite materials
Definite and its licensors retain their rights in the website, software, documentation, designs, and related materials. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials.
Third-party services
The website and service may connect or link to third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Disclaimers
The website is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Definite disclaims warranties not expressly stated in a written agreement.
Changes
We may update these website terms from time to time. The date above shows when they were last updated. Changes to a customer agreement must follow that agreement.
